Incredibly smooth dark roast. This single varietal coffee was transported from the Jamaican Blue mountain region in the 1970s and has been grown in Haiti ever since. I have greatly enjoyed Haitian coffee since I first tried it around 2008. This coffee makes incredible espresso as well as a full flavoured smooth and rich French Press or drip. Over the years it has been very difficult to get due to the persistent and unfortunate events that have afflicted the country and people. This arabica is produced in collaboration with the Haitian non-profit Kok Ki Chante which focuses on sustainable practices and supporting local farmers. This coffee is a big hit for people who drop into the Roastery. Limited quantities so enjoy it while you can.
